RIGHTEO! Time to roll up your sleeves and do some digging in the name of loving our great trails!
On Sunday the 9th of July we're holding our next Dig Day, and it's something that will become a regular event!
This month's work will concentrate on finishing off the great work we did on re-routing a section of the trail known as Plumber's Crack. Last time we changed the trail so it doesn't run along a creekline, thereby reducing the possibility of erosion and extending the life of this terrific trail.
On Sunday the 9th we'll be laying down geofabric and armouring the re-routed trail across the creek to further extend the trail's life.
Should be a hoot AND there'll be a BBQ at the end as a reward for all your hard work!!
We'd love to have you join us for a bit of a dig. So here's all the details:
WHEN: Sunday 9th July, 10am - 1pm----add to your calendar
WHERE: Kiwarrak MTB Park. Meet in the Carpark----see map
BRING: Protective clothing (long trousers and shirt), gloves, digging tools if you have them!
